We are pleased to announce TAILWIND’s participation in the 5th International Symposium on Frontiers in Offshore Geotechnics (ISFOG 2025), taking place in Nantes, France, from June 9 to 13.
As part of the symposium’s technical program, join us on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:19 AM in Room J for a presentation by Oscar Polania titled “First Steps towards Sustainable-by-Design Anchoring Systems for Floating Offshore Wind”. Research paper is available here.
This research showcases recent experimental work conducted at the geotechnical centrifuge of TU Delft’s Department of Geoscience and Engineering, focusing on innovative anchoring solutions designed to support the sustainable deployment of floating offshore wind infrastructure.
The project is a collaborative effort between NGI (Norwegian Geotechnical Institute), Subsea7, the University of Southampton, DTUNGI – Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, Subsea7, University of Southampton, DTU – Technical University of Denmark, and Delft University of Technology, funded by TAILWIND EU project), and is funded by the TAILWIND EU project.
We look forward to engaging with fellow researchers and industry professionals to explore new frontiers in offshore geotechnics and sustainable energy solutions.
