Deliverable
This deliverable complements the framework initiated by D1.2 which covered technical and financial KPIs, by providing a comprehensive review of environmental and social KPIs, and a shortlist of such KPIs to be considered for sustainability impact assessment for the development of Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) renewable energy infrastructure.
This report paves the way for the TAILWIND geotechnical activities as it identifies the challenges of typical anchors for floating offshore wind (FOW) turbines and guides thereby the selection of the anchors to be advanced further in the project.
This report corresponds to D1.1 ‘Project design basis’ of the TAILWIND project in which research on mooring lines and anchors for floating offshore wind is being developed. The scope of the activity here reported is related to the scenarios definition, including location, floater and mooring configurations, as well as the estimation of loads expected for mooring lines and anchors in selected scenarios.
